Boat Trip Along the Bangpakong River
Maenam Bang Pakong or Bang Pakong River is originated from Korat plateau, pass Prachin Buri, Amphoe Bang Nam Priao and Bang Khla of Chachoengsao, and exit Thai Bay at Amphoe Bang Pakong with the distance of 230 kilometers. The three hour trip of 25 kilometers starts from Chachoengsao town to view the local Thai nature along both banks. The route passes some interesting places such as Khrommakhun Maruphong Siriwats Residence, ancient fortress and walls, previous City Hall, old rafts, many Wats, and landed at Wat Pho Bang Khla to view the spectacular sights of the bats. Tourists can hire boat at the pier of Wat Sothon Wararam Worawihan or in town. The long-tailed boat can accommodate 8-10 people, and 40 people for a big boat. Wat Sothon Wararam Worawihan
This temple is situated on the west bank of the Bang Pakong River, 2 Kms. south of the city hall. Enshrined in a new gigantic hall is Phra Phutthasothon, or "Luang Pho Sothon" regarded as one of the most revered Buddha images in Thailand. The image, in the attitude of meditation, measuring 1.65 metres wide at the lap and 1.98 metres high, is always seen entirely pasted with gold leaves by worshipers. Two annual fairs celebrating the image fall in the 5th and the 12th lunar months (around April and November).Worshippers come from far around to pay homage to Luang Pho Sathorn and a large group of 20 other Buddha images. Thai dancers are on hand every day to perform for a small donation.

This Buddhist temple is of Mahayana Sect. Wat Uphai Phatikaram was built in 2443 B.E. in the reign of King Rama V by Khoon Pipitpanitchakam, nobleman. This temple is the location of "Luang Pho To",the largest Buddha image in Chachoengsao Province. The official names "wat Uphai Phatikaram" and "Phra Trairattananayok" were later bestowed by King Ramma V. Ban Mai (New House) Market
Located at Talat Ban Mai Road, Tambon Na Muang, Amphoe Muang Chachoengsao, Chachoengsao Province.
The market on the banks of the Bang Pakong River, is over 100 years old. Named "Ban Mai Market" because, in the past, the owners of the market changed and reorganized it as tenement housing. Inside the market there are two highly respected shrines, named "Tai Jia La Kong Shrine" or "Komin God Shrine" and "Thapthim Goddess Shrine". This market used to be a thriving center of commerce. Nowadays,it is promoted as a tourist attraction of the province that reflects the culture of the community.
Klongsuan Market
Situated on the banks of Prawetburirom Canal, Khlong Suan Market lies in two provinces: Tambon Thepparat, Amphoe Ban Pho, Chacoengsao Province and Tambon Khlong Suan, Amphoe Bang Bo, Samut Prakan Province. This traditional market dates back to the reign of King Rama V. Wat Chin Prachasamosorn
Located at 291 Ban Mai Road, Tambon Ban Mai, Amphoe Muang Chachoengsao, Chachoengsao Province.
Originally named "Leng Hok Yee", Wat Chin Pracha Samosorn is a Buddhist temple of Mahayana Sect. It was built over a century age. Mr. Thian-in Saeli and his wife donated their land to build a temple. Its founder is Chinese Monk "Chok Heng", a disciple of Wat Mangkorn Kamalawart (Leng Noei Yee) in Bangkok, influencing a resemblance between the two temples.
The title "Leng Hok Yee" was altered to "Chin Pracha Samosorn by King Rama V in 2449 B.E. Inside the temple, there are Chinese Guardians "Chatu Lokkabarn"(the Four Guardians of the world), which are fabricated from paper, the God of Luck(Chai Seng Eier), a huge sacred bell,and the preserved remains of the former abbot covered in golden leaf within the glass coffin.
